Amazon warps past Hollywood offering filmmakers Customflix distribution

Napolean said "I am the revolution" and now Amazon says "The Revolution has many voices all which deserve to be seen and heard."

Amazon changes the rules of distribution.

In the past, getting distribution for independent film and video productions meant a struggle to keep control of your rights and slim chances of making money. While everyone dreams of landing a successful traditional distribution deal, only a small number of titles ever receive distribution. Sadly, the majority of independent films and videos are never widely distributed.

Today, the CustomFlix Independent Media Gateway fundamentally changes independent distribution. Together CustomFlix and Amazon.com offer an affordable and low-risk way to make your film available to tens of millions of Amazon.com customers. You keep control of your film and start making money on the very first sale. Plus, you are free to remove your film from the program at any time should you land a traditional distribution deal.

APPLE BOOTCAMP

You've probably heard the news by now: Windows now works with Macs!

Apple unveiled Boot Camp, public beta software that enables Intel-based Macs to run Windows XP.

I wanted to share this news with you because my mac mini has transformed my life. It's a sweet machine and just in case you are hesitant about switching to a Mac because of your investment in Windows applications you may now reconsider. With Boot Camp, you can install Windows XP and your existing Windows applications on any Intel-based Mac. This great news for me because as I've said before, the MondoMouth show runs two flavors of computers: Mac and PC. Now, I'll be able to have both flavors on one machine: my Mac Mini.

If you want to take Boot Camp for a spin, you can download it at http://www.apple.com/macosx/bootcamp/.

Please note: Boot Camp is public software that is now in beta and only works with Intel-based machines. In addition, downloading Boot Camp is free.

You Tube MondoMouth TV

After my recent kabuki dance with blogger posts trying to uplink photos I've decided to audition replacements. This one is called You Tube. It's very easy to upload video. The only problem is that videos can only be a maximum of ten minutes in length. I know this to be true as I've tried to upload longer videos only to be rejected. I like these guys already; they treat me like family. Anyway, this is an edited version of the MMTV Pilot with some noticebable changes made for time constraints. I can't work under these constraints! Or, can I? Time will tell.
